The Maryland Responds Medical Reserve Corps (MDRMRC) Conference will provide an interactive sharing and learning setting for Maryland Responders, unit administrators, and stakeholders from around the state to examine responder strategies, share preparedness ideas and plan for the future of the MDRMRC Network.

Get a firsthand look at the new era of Maryland Responds. We'll debut the products of our partnership with the Maryland Institute College of Art Center for Design Practice. Together, we innovatively used art, design and health communication strategies to re-brand and streamline the look and feel of the Maryland Responds program.
3. Navigate the Road to Readiness.
Whether you are a new member, Responder-in-Training, or a Ready Responder, you can check your Responder status at the Road to Readiness exhibit. Here you will be able to get help with your MDResponds profile, submit forms, update your training record and take your ID badge photo. View exhibits >
4. Get your Ready Responder kit.
The Ready Responder kit is a new strategy that will be launched in conjunction with the conference. The Ready Responder kit contains responder supplies and equipment, such as a uniform, go-bag, ID badge, water bottle, field guides and more! All Maryland Responders who reach the Ready Responder status prior to attending the conference will be able to pick up their Ready Responder kit at the Road to Readiness exhibit. 5. Learn from the experts.
We’re bringing together leaders in the field to speak with you about volunteerism in disaster and emergency preparedness and response. Expect emergency management officials, creative design teams, experienced Maryland Responders and more. Our keynote speaker, Captain Robert Tosatto, Director of the national Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), will give an update on the state of the national MRC. Hear from our panel of experts, who will share their experiences and stories from all around the world on topics ranging from personal deployment stories to lessons learned on risk communication. Advance your professional skills and earn free continuing education credit/ hours for attending the conference.
